Writing Task

Write a paragraph describing the place where you live. Include what type of home it is (house, apartment, etc.), how many rooms it has, what your favourite room is and why, and describe what you can see from your window.

• •Use 'there is' and 'there are' to describe rooms and furniture
• •Include adjectives like big, small, cosy, bright, modern
• •Describe the location - is it in the city or the countryside?
• •Use prepositions of place: next to, near, in front of, between
