A Weekend in Barcelona

Last weekend, my girlfriend and I visited Barcelona for the first time. We arrived on Friday evening and took a taxi to our hotel near Las Ramblas, the famous street in the city center. On Saturday morning, we visited the Sagrada Familia church. It was absolutely beautiful! We waited in line for 45 minutes, but it was worth it. After that, we walked around the Gothic Quarter and had tapas for lunch at a small restaurant. The food was delicious and not too expensive. On Sunday, we went to the beach in the morning. The water was a bit cold, but we enjoyed the sunshine. In the afternoon, we visited Park Guell and took many photos. The views of the city were amazing. We left on Sunday evening. It was a short trip, but we loved every minute. I definitely want to go back to Barcelona someday!
